These pages will highlight the important contribution that BIFHSGO and its volunteers have made over the past 30 years to collect and disseminate research on British home children and on military and migration subjects. The results of this work is reflected in the Name Index, where you can search for individuals and find any records that appear in our various databases. 

Resources 

Over the years, BIFHSGO volunteers have assembled a range of resources to help you with your research. These include research guides, lists of books in the Ontario Ancestors (Ottawa Branch) library and a list of online resources. Our quarterly journal, Anglo-Celtic Roots, includes many articles that provide research tips and good stories.
